Labrador Tea - also known by the names Rhododendron tomentosum and Marsh Rosemary - is a beautiful and aromatic northern evergreen herb with a distinctive savoury flavour. Due to its mild narcotic properties, Labrador Tea is commonly used for relaxation and medicinal purposes, and it is most often used to make a calming tea or to enhance hot drinks. Incorporate Labrador Tea into savoury meat dishes or hearty stews to add a unique and complex flavour. Only a few leaves (3-5) should be consumed at one time. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should avoid consumption of Labrador tea.
